We are Jane & Anton Iskra – a duo of wedding & elopement photographers shooting in Iceland and beyond.
We found each other in the spring of 2009 & married a year and a half later. We love weddings and love to travel and most of all we love destination weddings. Still can’t believe how blessed we are to travel the world together and capture one of the best days of our couple’s lives.
Outside of photography, we spend our time traveling and hiking around the world, discovering new places and mindblowing spots, to share it all with our couples later. We both love good cinematography, psychology, art and always surround ourselves with interesting people.

how far in advance should we reserve a date for our elopement?
Most couples book us 8-12 months in advance of the date. Some prime weekend dates are occupied even further ahead – up to 2 years. We only take around 20 weddings and elopements per year, to devote enough time to each and deliver the best result.
can we see a full album, not just highlights?
Sure! We believe it’s really important for you to understand what your day will look like. We’ll be happy to share the full stories with you.
What if it rains on our Elopement day?
Iceland is famous for its unpredictable weather. Although we cannot guarantee sunny weather for your day, we always have a plan A, B, C, and even D. As experienced local Iceland elopement photographers we can assure can be sure that you’ll get stunning photos with any kind of weather, whether it’ll be at black sand beach, cliff or a glacier.
Will you help us plan our wedding day?
Absolutely! We have a ton of experience with traveling and planning travel, and we’re ready to help you turn your dreams into reality. Just describe your wishes and preferences and we’ll help you choose the best places or even make an itinerary of the day.
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Yes! We always come prepared with backup equipment to ensure nothing goes wrong & stops us from capturing your special day. Over the years we’ve learned that any gear can fail at any moment and have backups for everything.
Do you travel for elopements?
While we enjoy shooting weddings in Iceland, we’re also huge fans of destination weddings & elopements. We have shooting experience in Dolomites, Italy, Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Bali, Spain, Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, and we’re ready to capture your big day in whatever destination you choose.
