Cadini di Misurina Hiking Elopement
Last September we had a great chance to travel to one of the most miraculous parts of the Italy called Dolomites. Roadtripping the Alp’s mountain peaks has become an amazing tradition for us. So we were happy to show around the area to these two beautiful humans. They came from Singapore and invited us to be their Dolomites elopement photographers to celebrate an elopement day with them and document it.
How to get to Cadini di Misurina to elope in the Dolomites
To reach Cadini di Misurina, you first need to drive up to Rifugio Auronzo parking. Keep in mind, that there is a fee of 30 Euro (per car) to get to the Tre Cime National Park by car. However, it’s worth it, as it’s the most simple and comfortable way to get there. From Rifugio Auronzo, there is around a 30-45 minute moderate hike, which takes you straight to the Cadini di Misurina viewpoint.
The loop trail is a great spot for a half-day photography session, taking approximately 3-4 hours to complete. There will be enough time for a relaxed hike and beautiful portraits with the jaw-dropping backdrop.
Dolomites Italy Elopement at Tre Cime di Lavaredo
This part of the Dolomites is our favorite because you can take a hike and find a lot of spots with a stunning 360° panoramic view. And you know what? That evening and sunset were an absolute blast. We really prefer sunset elopement ceremonies to sunrise ones, just because Our favorite light of the day is one, which is after the sun hides completely. Photographers call it a blue hour. Time, when magic happens and incredible cinematic elopement photographs are made.
Just look at the elopement photos we’ve managed to take for Maggie & Kevin – they were truly the stars of that night shining so bright in the Dolomites Mountains and ridges!
